This competition is in no way sponsored, endorsed, administered by, or associated with Facebook, Instagram, Twitter, Google or any other social media platform.

1. PROMOTER AND PARTICIPANTS

1.1. The promoter is Roche Diabetes Care Middle East (RDCME).

1.2. All entrants must be nationals or residents of the following countries:

            Lebanon

            Jordan

1.3. Employees of RDCME, its subsidiaries or affiliated companies, their families, agents and other parties directly involved with this promotion and the sponsorship are not eligible to enter.

1.4. By entering the competition, you hereby agree to be bound by (without any limitation or qualification) these Terms & Conditions.

2. COMPETITION

2.1. The competition will start on the 7th of February, 2023 and end on the 21st of March, 2023.

2.2. 7 videos will be shared on RDCME’s social media pages (Facebook, Twitter, Instagram and YouTube) as per the following schedule:

            Video 1: 7th February, 2023

            Video 2: 14th February, 2023

            Video 3: 21st February, 2023

            Video 4: 28th February, 2023

            Video 5: 7th March, 2023

            Video 6: 14th March, 2023

            Video 7: 21st March, 2023

2.3. Two winners (1 per country) will be chosen by RDCME as per the present terms and conditions.

3. HOW TO PARTICIPATE

3.1 Each video contains an integrated riddle. Participants must watch the complete video to discover the answer.

3.2. Participants must comment under the video with the correct answer on any of Roche Diabetes Care Middle East’s official pages i.e. @RocheDiabetesCareME.

3.3. All 7 videos will contain a different riddle. 1 video answer is equivalent to one entry. The more entries received from one participant, the higher the chances of winning.

4. COMPETITION REQUIREMENTS

4.1. By entering the competition, you are communicating with us electronically. You consent to receive communications relating to the submission from us electronically. We may communicate with you by e-mail, by phone or by other electronic methods. You agree that and will be bound by all agreements, notices, disclosures and other communications that we provide to you electronically.

4.2. You also confirm that you are willing to disclose to RDCME the personal information requested for the purpose of the competition. You also agree for RDCME to transfer the requested personal information and data on to RDCME’s affiliates that may be located outside of the country of collection of the personal data and potentially outside of the above mentioned territories. You understand that the personal information will be securely stored and will not be distributed to any other third parties without your prior consent, except when required by any applicable laws and regulations.

4.3. RDCME reserves the right to disqualify incomplete or illegible entries, or those that do not otherwise meet the requirements hitherto laid out in these Terms & Conditions.

5. WARRANTIES:

5.1. You agree and undertake to fully protect, defend, hold harmless and keep RDCME and its affiliates fully indemnified from and against any and all claims, damages, losses, liabilities, obligations, causes of actions, judgments, suits, demands, penalties, charges, costs, expenses and disbursements of any kind or nature whatsoever and howsoever arising which RDCME may suffer, sustain, incur or be liable for, directly or indirectly, in consequence of or as a result of or arising from this competition as authorized hereunder or any breach or alleged breach of any of your obligations, covenants, representations and warranties under these terms and conditions.

5.2. RDCME hereby warrants that:

(a) It shall act within the scope of the rights granted under these Terms & Conditions.

6. THE PRIZE

1 Apple iPhone 14 per country.

6.1. RDCME will randomly pick one person from all entries received from each country (1 winner from Lebanon and 1 winner from Jordan). 1 video answer equals 1 entry, 2 answers equal 2 entries and so on.

6.2. RDCME will review the comments and should the participant:

6.2.1. Reside within the geographical parameters outlined above.

6.2.2. The candidate’s name will be placed in a random tool selection software.

6.2.3. After which, the name selected by the software will be declared the winner.

6.2.4. The prize will be delivered to the winner on behalf of RDCME by a third-part vendor.

6.2.5. Should the winner be uncontactable for one week from the date of announcement, the

said winner stands disqualified and another winner shall be selected.

6.2.6. Fake accounts will be automatically disqualified.

6.2.7. Answers from different videos will be accounted as multiple entries and will increase the chances of winning.

6.2.8. The first answer received via direct message on Facebook by the participant will be the only answer considered for that particular video.

6.2.9. Participant accounts must be public.

6.2.10. RDCME employees and their relatives are not eligible to Participate.

6.2.11. The Participants consent to any use of their data by RDCME.

6.2.12 Should it be discovered that a Participant had provided falsified details, RDCME has every right to withdraw the prize and award it to another shortlisted

6.3. Participants will be contacted via by the official RDCME Facebook page to notify them in case they are selected as a winner. If participants don’t receive such notification by the end of the competition i.e. 28th of March, 2023, then that means that, unfortunately, they were not one of the lucky winners.

6.4. The Prize will be shipped directly to the winner’s address as communicated by the winner to RDCME.

6.5. RDCME reserves the right to publish the name, town and county of the winner or to publicize any prize giving presentation after the date of the competition. RDCME will notify the winner by email or through social media. If the winner does not wish such details to be published, they must advise RDCME in writing at the time of being notified that they have won.

6.6. The Prize is strictly as stated above and is non-transferable with absolutely no cash, credit or other alternative prize available for substitution with the prize on offer.

8. DISCLAIMER

8.1. RDCME reserves the right to refuse to honor any entry if it considers there has been an abuse or breach of the Terms & Conditions of this competition.

8.2. In the event of a dispute over interpretation or implementation of the rules on any matter

related to the competition, the decision of RDCME shall be final.

8.3. If any part of these Terms & Conditions is found by a court of competent jurisdiction or other competent authority to be invalid, unlawful or unenforceable, then such part shall be severed from the remainder of these Conditions, which shall continue to be valid to the fullest extent permitted by law.
